Breathing Easier

Antibiotics are quickly kicking the crap out of my sinus infection.
I could notice a difference just between 4th period and bonus period.

That being said, I'm praying that my usual playing ability is going to return soon as well, because my solo is kicking the shit out of me. I told Dave I wanted a solo that would still be a challenge to a college trumpet player. He handed me a packet of the hardest trumpet solos for ISSMA group 1. I think I'm playing the 4th hardest one.

I am happy that I'm playing it though, no matter how bad it may turn out, because the things that Dave said people normally mess up on this piece, are actually the things I'm doing better at. I kicked the crap out of the rhythms and stuff, I just don't have the endurance to play the whole thing, especially if I'm going to be playing a tuba just 12 minutes before my solo time.

I ended up missing my favorite theatre warm-up thanks to Chris. I get that we needed to practice the trumpet choir thing, but I don't understand why we spent 9 minutes practicing how we're going to warm-up and put our horns up. I think that a scale and a long tone to tune to is all we need.

And I went there promptly as I got the message, because I've played with them twice now. I stood outside the locked door for 6 minutes before Chris finally let me in. Did I mention that he also made eye contact with me 4 times as well? Yeah, and he just kept on playing, then proceeded to play the whole piece two more times before letting me in.

And he puts trash in my lockers. How do I know? Because the trash that I put in His locker Earlier that morning before he was there ended up in my locker after he was the last one in there. I'm going to pour and egg white down his trumpet bell on some random friday.

God I'm such a terrible person...

And troublesome texts have not stopped at all.
Every single day you text me now. I'm fine being friends and all. And this whole "something's up between us" is because I'm trying to send a message while keeping your feelings in mind. And the new thing, that we need to "have a good talk, about everything". Ummm, I'm going to avoid this "talk" at all costs, because it could very well be disastrous to many things, and simply doesn't need to happen.

And I'm sure that you'll bring up how I never replied tonight sometime tomorrow. I'm fully aware that I'm not replying to your messages, asking if I feel like talking or not tonight. I've told you what's on my plate right now. I've got 6 main courses of music, an oversized side of bowling sectionals and party on the same day, as a dessert of being off script. That's what I'm doing. I know my priorities, and I need to keep them straight.

Right now, I'm gonna play some trumpet for a while and listening to The State of The Union because I can get extra credit And that I need to pay attention.

To set things straight, I'm up for non-troublesome texts.

Troublesome Texts and Audio Warnings.

I'm on a little experiment, to see if I can save 10 bucks a month, which in a grand scheme is a lot.

I'f I stay below 1000 messages a month, I'll save 10 dollars. So I've cut back everything facebook tells me, and the number of people I follow on twitter for mobile.

I think I can save that 10 bucks a month.

Problem that I've got now.
Is that I only seem to get one kind of text any more. A text that is a problem that I can't seem to deal with.

I more/less wish that I did not even have a cell phone at times, that is how sick of this I am.

So I just tweeted a bit ago. "Holy Shit. This is the worst thing I think I've heard in my life. I can't believe I played in it. Im ashamed, and also glad I've progressed"

Dave gave me a recording he made for a brass choir 3 years back. It brings back some memories though, being that it was my first time participating with an ISSMA group and that it was my freshman year.
I wanted to do a brass choir this year, and Dave picked the same piece. My first high school brass choir piece will also be my last. Poetic much?
Well anyway. I think he gave this to me as a warning, because this piece was terrible. Like I don't want to listen to it anymore, but it's the kind of piece that gives you hope that it'll turn out just fine and sounds pretty for a second, and then it sounds like a bunch of violins playing half-steps from one another.
Dave- warning received. I'm going to beat the crap out of them if they can't play it right.

That's that.

Chicken Limo

Yeah that's right. I'll be going to prom in a Chicken Limo.

Jess had gone ahead and already decided what was going to happen and who was in her group, as she always does, and didn't even ask if we wanted to, just assumed we would. She does that kind of stuff all the time and I don't know how people can stand it. Everything is about Jess and how she wants it done, even other people's parties.

Tim and I had been talking about the prom group weeks before we heard, not even from Jess, that Jess had decided we were in her group.

Then she found out that Tim and I put a deposit on the chicken limo, and suddenly became interested. Well too bad, Jess. There's only one chicken limo and it only holds eight and there's no room for you and your obnoxious cackling.

I'm gonna be flying all over the place the next week or so.
It's gonna be madness.

Collapsable People Skills

I can't pull this off much longer. But I'll shoot for a record.

There's other things to say first though.
2010 North American International Auto Show, was pretty cool. Ford dominated everybody else, but that's no surprise. The trip there and back was fun too.
I can't even put it all into words, it was just a ton of fun. Including fun that almost got us run off the road by lesbian vampires who were no older than ourselves.

From Detroit, we hit the "Go Home" button on the gps, to get us back to Westfield, and began to follow it's direction. About an hour or so into the drive, Tim questions if we're going the right way. Only to find that the gps it taking us through an entirely new route, which went through Ohio. I followed the high-lighted route and saw that fate was taking us right by a golden opportunity. It was taking is right by Napoleon, Ohio. Napoleon is where the wonderful Chris Nagy came to us from.

Needless to say, we took an extra stop in Napoleon, Ohio, and even found the High School, which was supposed to be all locked up. Fate had other plans, because in one of the front doors was a door stop, keeping it open just an inch or so. I beckoned Tim over, and we both entered the empty, dimly lit school.

Looking back, it was like a horror movie setting. Three teens. A small, quaint little town where everybody seems oh so nice. Two of them leaving the other alone in the car outside while they explore the closed building. The youngest of them, with a camera, documenting everything in sight while the oldest scouts ahead. They find an unlocked room, the natatorium. The youngest slowly walks in, surveying the room, assuring himself that it is safe, and the oldest stands guard outside. They've explored everything within sight, everything but the elevator in the corner. After entering the elevator, the two find that there's only one direction that the ground-level elevator will go, down, and that it will open on the other side. The door begins to shut, the two watch as the window to the dimly lit, abandoned first floor slowly disappears before them.

Doesn't that just set up a terrific horror movie?!
We didn't go into the basement, that went against our better judgement. Though now I really wish we had, because I'd love to know what was down there right now.

--Here's for the random bit here.
I've discovered, that if I was skinny enough, and had no abdominal muscles, I would be owner of a terribly ugly "outtie" belly button. But that wont every happen, so no worries!

This particular ENR started at about 9, and it's just past 10.
I was tossing around different titles, when I got a text, which is exactly part of my problem.
I can't very well keep up with what life is tossing me, and Im afraid to say that the horizon only shows more curveballs flying my way. It just seems to come in waves like this, and this is a storm that I've been forecasting for over 6 months now. I waded into the deep end, ever so slowly, only to have the water level rise when I was nice and comfortable. I might loose my sanity if I wasn't bound by morals.

Other update, I still can't extra ears, or any other sensory preceptors. But any help on how to do so would be largely appreciated.

Origami Ninja

Turns out, I suck at throwing paper throwing stars, haha.

Thursday was fun. Had vocals for the musical, then off to Thursday Night Live, which is surprisingly fun for a school talent show, and I wish they did more of them.

Friday I didn't go to my meet, I stayed for choreography, which as it turns out, I never dance, only watch in the center of things, utterly disgusted at what's happening. Aka, I didn't even need to be there. But I also didn't really want to use the gas to drive all the way to Alexandria, of wherever it was. That evening I went to Kaylee's party. Ummm...

Long story short, it wasn't the most enjoyable thing I've done, and after asking Sarah, turns out she greatly agreed. So we almost ended up ditching the party, because it just really wasn't a ton of fun to me. Though we didn't end up leaving, she left early, I stayed till we all got kicked out.

Today I've made lots of cookies, watched saturday morning cartoons- which, have changed an incredible amount since the days when I watched them religiously, that's growing up I guess- did laundry, watched some shows online, played some PS2, now I'm here, and I'm gonna start packing for a road trip as soon as I'm done here.

-Super random and weird-
I've been lounging around in just an undershirt and jeans all morning. I just stretched and happened to look at my left arm, right where the sleeve hits, as I was stretching and the sleeve pulled back. There's a bite mark. I have absolutely no explanation for the bite mark, only that it is there, and looks rather recent. I even just tried to see if I somehow bit myself, and there's no way that the bite mark is from me.
This mildly disturbs me.

I guess I should get packing, I'm expecting to leave in about 15 minutes or so, and I'll be back early monday afternoon. I'm hoping this will be a lot of fun.

Till monday!

Read What I'm Not Saying

What I say has a meaning. And it's up to those that see what I say to place a meaning with my odd-ball statements. There's not much more than that.

It's Wednesday, I've lasted this long, so the rest of the week is no problem.

I've not been able to pull myself away from music this week either, and it's making me feel somewhat more relieved about going into live performance. Band's been super easy right now, like counting rhythms, not missing key changes and accidentals like I usually do, and putting myself in the higher notes of my range whenever I need to. I ended up over-shooting a high B three times today, and playing in the shelf above it, being high C, D and E. Would have been awesome if they had fit into the chord, haha.

And the craziest thing happens when I listen to this one song. I like feel certain parts of it. Like literally, I feel it in my molars... Yeah, I know...

Ever since Christmas Break ended, my moms been getting on me like every day about deciding on a college, and she doesn't seem to understand that I'm going to learn all my options before I even come close to a decision. And that just because one school has officially called me three times asking about my thoughts for residence. Sent me two letters informing me of scholarships I've received, that now total $48,000. I'm being pressured to go there, and I don't think it's a fit. It's like a final back-up school. Julie is mad about this as well, and started going on her "It's not fair..." rant.
What's not fair? That I took school seriously and wont end up at fucking Ivy Tech?
But college just seems so far off, and I'm fine living today for what it is and I don't to miss anything while I'm squinting to the distance.

Wings Sprouted, Foreign Language Spoken

Today was pretty much two things.

Mind numbingly painful due to some strange occurrence of my teeth.
And the other half was pretty awesome, and left me on a buzz.

The thing about my tooth, is that it's not all the time. And that it got me to stay home for a while, while let me play my game, which I also beat.

Which leads me into my next topic. I can cross of part of my resolutions now, as I have beat the normal mode of Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. But it turns out that there's a bonus mode with a completely different story line, so I'm gonna need to beat that now..
While beating the game, it was pretty interesting. There was a warm-up boss, before the final boss. That boss was harder than the actual final boss, which I beat on my first try. And that happened to be the FIRST TIME EVER that I beat a final boss on the first time. And then there's that bitter sweet feeling that you get when the credits start rolling. That you spent so many hours, just to see those credits, and you feel kinda dumb. And then there's that movie at the end of the credits that hints you to the sequel.

Buzzing was pretty much after school onward. It might have just been pretty awesome.

Right Round

(Not Like a Record)

Normally, I'd be on my way to school right now, but, I'm not. I'm at home.

Why am I at home? Because yesterday evening while I was making cookies and minding my own business, my left from tooth began to hurt really badly, like a throbbing pain, and it felt incredibly cold. I dealt with it for like 2 hours, just thinking I was crazy. After two hours, I took one of my mega pain killers, which is also supposed to make me fall asleep within 30 minutes. An hour later I was still wide awake, though my tooth was somewhat better. My mom said that if it hurt in the morning, I wouldn't be going to school.

I'm not on my way to school, and it's 7:20.

And what's the importance of Right Round?
That's how the dinner table is spinning.

It spins and spins, but for the first time an entire dinner course has flown off of the table and shattered against a wall. That's probably why restaurants don't have spinning tables.

I wish I was on Pandora, that seems like it would be really cool. Having an Avatar and stuff.

Starting Down the Velvet Hallway

The title actually means nothing, and I haven't the slightest of how I thought of it.

First week back at school. It was decent. Nothing too special.
Starting on the musical every day now.
Friday was started with a wonderful delay and breakfast at steak and shake.
I left choreography super early to go to a bowling meet.
I did ok. It was just about a normal warm-up game for me. Like 136 I think it was. Nothings amazing, just ok.
Came back into Westfield and wanted to go sledding in the worst way, so I sent out some texts to ask people. My phone decided that it was in the mood to not send nor receive any messages, making the idea of going sledding impossible.
But I did get out tonight. Went to Starbucks with some cool people, did doughnuts and drove through snow drifts, then ran out of gas.
Had to call somebody to get some. That was fun and a disappointment.
I'm probably a pretty terrible person for being so judgmental, but this is probably the biggest thing I'll ever judge anyone on. Smoking.
Aside from being absolutely terrible for you, making you smell gross, and ruining your teeth. It's probably the biggest turn off ever. I can't even put it into words how repulsed and disgusted I am. And considering other things too.

In all reality though. Sometimes the unexpected things make everything else seem somewhat easier. And it was bound to be one thing or another to get resolved, and regardless, one of the options was going to be somewhat messy.

Super zSleepy as of now.

2010: A Beginning of... Beginnings.

So I sit here, in a new year.

First of all, I forgot how incredibly stressful planning a New Years party is when you're only home two days before the party.
Second of all, I forgot how much fun they are once everything comes together.

Before I get to the whole New Years thing, I'm going to wrap up December.

I had to go on a road trip. I wanted to go and everything, but it wasn't what I had hoped it to be. Julie brought her boyfriend with us, and I did not like that.
----Non-Related Interjection: Wow, I guess I'll take the hint. Thanks.----
I had to share a room with her boyfriend too. And I think I heard them call one another "love" more than their actual names.
Relatives haven't changed much.
The whole state hasn't changed much.

Got back and did a video project that took the whole day.
The next day I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned for my New Years Party, which about brings me up to speed.

A year ago, I started LimeGreen. And I did very well for the first month, and I slowly found less and less time to update it. One of the first things I wrote, were my resolutions. To some extent, I did very well with them, and others, I did terrible at.

1. Keep room clean.
Nope, just by looking over my shoulder I can tell I didn't do that one haha.
2. Loose Weight.
I suppose I did. I'd have to say I didn't know what I was writing back then. Explanation a bit later.
3. Be more open.
I don't know. I'd have to ask other people. I mean, I really didn't keep much a secret in that sense. If somebody asked, I told.
4. Do 3 brand-new things every month.
I did a lot of new things last year, 3 a month, I did not.
5. Look at colleges.
Not a very good resolution, because I kind of had to.

Resolution #2.
At the time, I didn't know much of anything about weight loss, not saying that I know a vast deal one year later. I was all about the number that I saw, and nothing more. I didn't care about muscle mass in comparison to fat or anything like that really. I did in fact take close to 8 inches off of my waist in the last two years, 6 of them being last year. For that, I take a good deal of pride, for I'm just barely too big for a 38, but a 40 is loose. And near the end, I stopped really looking at the actual number so much, because I didn't care. I actually ended up gaining weight in the fall once I started to exercise more and eating well. That turned out to be muscle mass, which Im fine with.

Enough with the past though, time for the new resolutions.

1. Stop ending up "there" when I'm just bored in my room.

2. Keep my room in a state where it can be cleaned in 15 minutes or less for company.

3. Re-Instate savings funds; Black Friday, Christmas, Birthdays and so on.

4. Continue to be more open, and try to use less metaphors for things I'd actually like to say.
-I'll need friends to help me out on that, even if it's just demanding to know what it means.
5. Don't back-track on what self-growth I've done.

6. Beat the following games:
Pac-Man World 2
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
We ♥ Katamari
Harvest Moon: Wonderful Life- Special Edition

7. Read more books.

8. The whole weight loss thing-
Ideally- get between 200-210 and stay there, it's still kind of heavy, but I need to think realistically. I'm a big guy, and to be like 170 or something, I'm afraid I'd just look anorexic and sickly, which just doesn't suit me. Should I dip under 200 and still look and feel good and healthy, then wonderful, but if not, no big loss. As of this morning, I'm at 234. So pretty much, 25-35 pounds in one year. But there's more. Because I know more about body build-up(or at least think I do) now, I have more things to include. As for those, Im not entirely certain, but they pertain to muscle mass, and the fact that I want more. Because with my frame, I could easily beat the crap out of somebody. But in reality, some times I don't feel like I could back it up. So I'm aiming to fix that.

9. Grow to 6' 8 or taller.
I can't control that a whole lot, but I want to. I love being tall. Sure, somethings are a hassle, but so what! What I can do is eat more foods that promote growth and get a better nights sleep more often. Because Im predicted at a max of 7'2. Which means I've got a long way to go. But I'm not sure I want to be THAT tall, 6'10 sounds like a good max.

That's all for now. I have one or two more I'm tossing around, but those 9 are the ones I seriously would like to work on. And since this has already been such a long post, I'm going to cut it off here, and just hold my tongue, which has tons to say, until another time.
